Job description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Training Support Specialist to join a dynamic team and play a key role in the development of training content, systems, and programs at a new manufacturing site. The successful candidate will contribute to the design, implementation, and maintenance of learning solutions, ensuring training compliance and supporting the rollout of a comprehensive training management system. This position is ideal for a highly organized and proactive professional with a passion for developing learning frameworks that enhance team performance.

Responsibilities Include but Are Not Limited to the Following:

  • Training and Documentation Support:

    • Support the setup and rollout of the Corporate Training Management System for the site.

    • Assist in the design, development, and management of training materials, curricula, and learning plans.

    • Create and manage training documents in accordance with site Training SOPs.

    • Perform activities related to:

      • Curriculum creation and item definition.

      • Risk assessments and content creation.

      • Learning plans and qualification plans.

      • Maintenance of individual training histories.

    • Produce reports and ensure training compliance through the Learning Management System.

    • Manage training qualification compliance.

  • Business Support:

    • Identify and address business training needs, including troubleshooting training-related issues and closing training gaps.

    • Schedule and organize training courses, ensuring training documentation aligns with schedules.

    • Guide teams through the use of training tools and templates.

    • Ensure instructor qualifications are met and that qualification plans are in place for training pathways.

    • Share best practices, track training metrics, and report updates.

    • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure effective delivery of training initiatives.

  • Training Processes and Systems Monitoring:

    • Assist in implementing new training initiatives, including process improvement projects and new product introductions.

    • Monitor and support training systems and processes to ensure effectiveness.

Job requirements

  • Education:

    • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline (preferred).

    • Equivalent education or relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

  • Skills and Attributes:

    • Proficiency in MS Office applications and training development tools.

    • Familiarity with cGMP requirements.

    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.

    • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.

    • Experience with SuccessFactors is an advantage.
