Job description

Our client, a leading Medtech company in Leitrim, are seeking a Product Builders to join their team. As a product builder you will work in a Cleanroom environment, where will be responsible for assembling and inspecting parts in the manufacture of medical devices products.


Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Follow and adhere to all relevant Company SOPs to manufacture conforming product as directed by your manager
  • Meet pre-determined internal quality & productivity goals, KPIs and other related metrics
  • Adhere to Plant Safety requirements and Health & Safety requirements relating to your work, assuming responsibility for those aspects of the OH&S System over which you have control to ensure the health and safety of yourself and others.
  • Be aware of the potential environmental impacts associated with your work and the implications of non-conformance.
  • Contribute to enhanced energy performance by conservation of energy where possible (Lighting, Equipment, Air Conditioning etc).
  • Contribute to the continual improvement activities of the OH&S, Environmental and Energy Management systems through participation, providing feedback/ suggestions for improvement and by reporting accidents, dangerous occurrence, near miss/ illness, good catch and environmental incidents in a timely manner.
  • Ensuring that all cleanroom, housekeeping & GMP requirements/ procedures are adhered to.
  • Ensuring that all process control requirements are adhered to including first piece inspection , in-process inspections and that timely adjustments are carried out , in accordance with production procedures.
  • Ensuring that product change-overs are carried out effectively and waste reduction methods are integrated into all processes.
  • Take action where necessary to highlight and prevent product and process non-conformances in accordance with our non-conforming procedure.
  • Participation in Customer Complaint investigation & resolution.
  • Participation in plant Corrective Action & Continuous Process Improvement programmes.
  • Participation in the Internal Training Programme.
  • Participation in the Internal Quality Audit Programme
  • Other responsibilities as directed by Support staff and your direct manager.

Job requirements

  • Previous experience in a GMP / cleanroom environment is highly desirable
  • Average levels of dexterity are required to perform the role
  • Integrity in all work completed is a must
  • Interview selection will be based on experience, aptitude & references
