Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled Fabricators/Sheet Metal Workers with proven experience in precision fabrication. The successful candidate will play a key role in manufacturing and assembling sheet metal components to exacting standards, ensuring compliance with client specifications, particularly within the pharmaceutical sector. This role requires excellent organisational skills, strong communication with clients, and the ability to work effectively under pressure to meet strict deadlines.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Fabricate, cut, weld, bend, and assemble sheet metal components to high precision standards.

  • Interpret and work from technical drawings, specifications, and client requirements.

  • Plan, organise, and prioritise jobs to meet production schedules and delivery deadlines.

  • Liaise directly with pharmaceutical companies to confirm order specifications, delivery requirements, and logistics.

  • Manage stock levels, including monitoring material usage and coordinating timely reordering.

  • Support logistics functions to ensure accurate dispatch and delivery of finished products.

  • Ensure all work complies with industry quality standards and client expectations.

  • Maintain tools, equipment, and workshop environment in safe and efficient working order.

  • Collaborate with colleagues and management to resolve production issues quickly and effectively.

  • Work to health, safety, and quality assurance standards at all times.

Job requirements

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in fabrication and sheet metal work.

  • Strong skills in welding, cutting, forming, and assembling metals.

  • Proven ability to work to a very high standard with excellent attention to detail.

  • Experience planning and organising multiple jobs in a fast-paced environment.

  • Knowledge of stock control and logistics in a production/manufacturing setting.

  • Ability to work to strict deadlines and perform under pressure.

  • Excellent communication skills, with confidence in liaising with clients/

Desirable Skills

  • Experience using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar) would be an advantage

  • Previous experience working with clients in the pharmaceutical sector.

  • Ability to hand-sketch drawings

  • Forklift license or material handling experience.

Additional Details & Benefits:

  • Shift: 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturday overtime required.
